Elust Re-Posts
Re-Posting is optional but Elust works best if as many people as possible re-post the full edition on their own blog with unique comments next to the links.
You may be able to copy and paste the digest into your visual editor or the html version is updated every month on the digest code link.
Each edition then becomes a small community where everyone is doing their best to promote your blog post and you're returning the favour by promoting them too.
You Can Add a Sentence or Two in your Own Words Next to Some or All of The Links in the Digest.
This isn't compulsory but it makes for a fun incentive to read everyone's posts.
Search engine algorithms like the digests better if they're unique. Adding your own comments to the digest should improve the boost your SEO gets from participating in Elust.

If You Re-Post, I'll Make Your Links DoFollow in the Digest Code
Dofollow vs nofollow links and their value for SEO
If You Don't Re-Post, Your Links Will be Nofollow in the Digest Code
It's only fair.
If you don't re-post, that's fine, your link still appears on the Elust website, in the Elust edition that gets emailed out to 432 subscribers, and you get tagged in the Bluesky post announcing the new edition but your link will be tagged as nofollow so search engine algorithms will not recognise the link and you will not get any SEO benefit to your search ranking.
If you do re-post, you're giving away a generous and substantial free promotion to everyone with a link included in Elust.
The Dofollow link is Elust's way of returning the favour via backlinks from everyone else who re-posts and the value that search engine algorithms assign to those backlinks.
Simply accumulating large numbers of backlinks is a bit of an old fashioned approach to SEO.
Elust has been running for 17 years as of 2026, and search algorithms have evolved significantly during that time.
The best way to adapt the concept of Elust to more modern SEO is via contributors including unique comments alongside the links.
When people do this it creates greater link profile diversity, contextual relevance, and stronger entity associations within a clearly defined community.
The idea is that over time, this kind of natural, topical interlinking can improve discoverability and strengthen overall search visibility.
Especially when it reflects genuine participation rather than mechanical link exchange.
